About Us

The Ancestral Research course is a result of a collaboration between North Highland College and Seabridge Consultants.

Led by Jacky Macmillan, North Highland College’s Online Projects team develops innovative online training material for independent learners and students of the University of the Highlands and Islands Millennium Institute.

Cameron Taylor, a partner in Seabridge Consultants, has played a leading role in the development of ancestral tourism in Scotland and is the author of Rooted in Scotland: getting to the heart of your Scottish Heritage, published by The Luath Press.

Jacky and Cameron look forward to welcoming you to the course.
